Kitty Wren
Welcome to my imagined corner of Regency England, where one happy ending for Elizabeth and Darcy is never enough. If you love fun, frothy, low-angst variations and watching Mr Darcy make an absolute fool of himself over Elizabeth Bennet, you're in the right place.

About Kitty Wren
After a career in copywriting and a lifelong obsession with Jane Austen, I finally began writing the Pride and Prejudice variations I had always wanted to read. I am also lucky enough to live by the sea these days, where a walk along the shore or a quick dip usually does far more for my imagination than sitting at a desk ever did.I love the 1995 and 2005 adaptations with equal levels of obsession, which I realise is controversial. Colin Firth emerging from a lake is a stone-cold classic, but Matthew Macfadyen walking through the mist at dawn also has a special place in my heart. And then, of course, there is the hand flex which completely altered my brain chemistry.Film wars aside, in an often quite depressing world, I find something deeply comforting in returning to familiar characters and sending them down a new path. Elizabeth and Darcy may misunderstand each other in entirely different ways, but I can always promise that they will find their way back to one another in the end.
